New series suggestions?

These were not:
Black Sails
Copper

Copper I agree with you but Black Sails!

Took the words right out of my mouth! haha :D

Heh, well. It started badly (really didn't enjoy the first 2/3 episodes), improved a bit, but then I just couldn't stick with it.

I watched the penultimate episode of season 2, but just wasn't feeling it any more. Haven't been back since.

This explains the problem, you'd given up halfway through.

I can't even remember what happens at the start of season 3, but with the whole story from season 1 to season 4, the second half has a huge amount going on.

Come on, surely 19 episodes is enough to get a feel for it :D

I'm kind of tempted to go back to it, just to see some resolution. It just got a bit crap again, 2nd half of S2

Thinking that I might start watching Sopranos as I've never had the chance to watch it.

Definitely do it.
I only watched the odd episode when they were aired if I happened to catch it, but I've recently started binging my way through and it's right up there with the best of them.

Fringe
Alias
Babylon 5 (old school Sci-Fi)
Black Sails
Person of Interest
The Blacklist

Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix , it isn't exactly a sci fi but more of a dark comedy which reminded me a bit of Fargo. Also, Drew Barrymore is even hawter these days. :D

Under the dome on Amazon, sci fi from a Stephen King story.

2is there a way to search imdb for series that have released all seasons and they actually have an ending and not just been cancelled.
or anyone know a list of top series with that criteria.

Stop watching Fringe after the first couple of seasons as it gets really silly/bad.
Person of Interest is also terrible, skip that.

House :)

For older Sci-Fi you could try Babylon 5 or Earth, Final Conflict. Both show their age in parts but have some good moments.
If you liked Band of Brothers the Pacific is in a very similar vein. I'd also recommend the Sopranos which is excellent, but I preferred 'The Wire,' as I thought it created a very believable atmosphere.

Grimm, Penny Dreadful, iZombie and Bates motel are quite good (although I have lost interest in bates motel).
