Planning on....
SAPPHIRE PGS A3 M MAINBOARD
AMD FIREPRO A300 APU
For a server, I have a gaming rig here that has 16gb RAM which may goto the server and I might stick to 8gb. What do you think of a300? and a case I need thats small but mainly for hdd's. I plan on Ubuntu or Win8Server+Linux or ESXi?
Server hosts, downloads and shuts up.
I had a HP MICROServer (trying to get a refund/repair) but this has more SATA+S3 plus more pcie future upgrades. I may keep it downstairs and hook a screen up just run a front end or have speakers for music.
I have then my gaming htpc in my lc20 case. The server hosts all hdd;s (like 7) and streams media and I want it to manage ipcams Zoneminder
I use Ubuntu, Win8, Rasp, Android and ios over the house.
