Trying to install windows 7 on a new setup
(intel quad Q8200, Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L, 4gb corsair XMS2, Sapphire HD4870, 500gb seagate barracuda, Coolermaster 460W eXtreme Power Plus PSU)
and it gave blue screen. Now it doesn't boot.
The lights near the ram do not light up for more than a fraction of a second whereas before they were constantly lit. The graphics fan speed oscillates, there is no output whatsoever. And where it used to beep on start up there is no beeping.
I tried taking one stick of ram out at a time to see if it was that, but no change.
I also tried it with no ram at all and there was no change, not even a warning beep to let me know there's no ram.
Took the graphics out to see if its that (then remembered my mobo doesnt have intergrated graphics so that was no help)
I don't have any spare parts i could substitute to find the solution to the problem. (nor the money to buy some)
Any ideas?
