A friends son requires a new PC where he can connect it to either a Wii U or more likely an Xbox One and simultaneously play games which he records, edits and uploads onto Youtube etc. Would want to record voice through a microphone too. Will be using Elgato HD 60. Pro apparently.

The games he plays on the PC are not super high graphics demanding though and the videos are not high quality however this may change in relatively short time I suppose. In truth he would want something that looks good and allows him to do his YouTube videos.

Budget is around £500 ex.vat for PC with connections and cables required to attach to consoles plus new webcam and microphone. Ability to dual monitor also required and suggestions of fairly reasonable monitors would be appreciated. Apreciate they probably will not be in the budget.

As you can tell this is lost on me so any assistance would be appreciated!

Thanks for that. So would you know what cables are required to attach to Xbox or the wii and what ports they plug into?

I am fine building PCs, just not so up with the software used to record gameplay on a gaming console...

It does yes thanks very much.

Unfortunately I have never seen the Elgato Pro but I know he lives it and finds it easy to use.

Would you be a abl to recomm be a 'cool' case for a teenager with this setup? Just conscious the price is rising though.

Thanks again though much appreciated.
