New setup issue ?

Hi,

Upgraded motherboard, RAM and CPU and whilst retaining my 670 graphics card. Fresh install of windows 8.1 with the latest version of nvidia driver, I'm getting graphics glitches infrequently on the desktop and frequently in game.

OK, feeling a bit silly, I hadn't installed the driver for the ASUS Xonar dx card. Installing the driver appears to have removed the graphics issues...

Mmmm frustratingly the problem is back, seems to be intermitent.

Start with all the usual tests, reseat anything slot mounted in case of dust/poor seating. Then run VMT, Memtest, Prime 95 etc to see if any individual component gives you any issues. See if that reveals anything.

Do you monitor temperatures with any software?
