New setup won't boot...

Hi there,

Got all my new stuff together this morning and I am having a bit of trouble with it

Spec:

DS3

2gb Geil PC6400 Ram

E6400


Now i have ensured everything is plugged in a fair few times including taking the mobo out of the case and putting it all back in a few times to make sure it isn't shorting out, and still nothing.

I have my suspicion that it may be the ram,as i remember reading that it needs 2.1v and the DS3's stock voltage isn't enough to even get you into the bios to change it to 2.1v?

Anyone have any suggestions of ways around this or any other ideas of what it could be?

O and just to add, the HD light stays on a permanent red if that means anything?

And i have had to swap everything back to my amd setup to come on here to post so that rules out psu, graphics card, hard disk etc..
