New shape focus

While parking in Reading today, I saw a focus that that was similar to mine (they are common) however when it then drove by I realised it was the new 2014 facelift model. I liked the new front end however not so keen on the slightly modified rear end. I would have liked to seen the inside as pictures show it's been vastly improved.

I found it a bit strange though as it goes on sale in July and no one seems to have any hands on reviews yet.

Do they release new models early to important people within the company or something? Just interested if this is usual practise really?

I didn't think the facelift model was out until September so this is earlier than I thought.

Quite possible it was one of the pre-production cars doing some road mileage in the hands of someone who works for Ford or maybe they have released a few to dealers early to get them seen out and about.
