Got to the UPS office with 5 minutes till closing time after leaving work at 5:30..

MBP 15" i7 2.2GHz, 4GB DDR3, Anti-glare 1680x1050 ATI 6750M 1GB DDR5, 500GB 7200rpm HD.

Someone wondered if I'd have the twin SATA 6Gb/sec, it reports 2x Intel 6 series SATA (6Gbit/sec) links, HD at 3Gbit/sec.

I've not yet clensed it and installed all the development stuff on it but:

Well now I've migrated my stuff over - I can give you a comment on usability speed.

Post install indexing the disk didn't seem to hamper the performance notably.. whilst running a Parallels 6 Windows 7 32bit 2GB VM.. whilst running Xcode and importing mail... whilst copying across the remainder of the 20GB of dev resources form the old machine over gig-ethernet.
After quitting parallels, I started Stellarium.. it's getting 200fps lol.

So it's fast with just a 7200rpm drive - it must be bananas with an SSD (if my MBP3,1+SSD was to go by).
