I bought a new pair of Ben sherman shoes on a well known auction site (it was a shop trading) i cant seem to get hold of the shop, tried numourous times..Anyway, the shoes are fine exept they are a tiny bit to big.

They dont slip off when im walking in them but they are a little loose, because i cant get hold of the shop its unlikely i will be able to exchange them because i need them for this weekend, is there anything u can buy to put at the ends of them to make up for the extra space? Is literally only about half an inch..

Grow your toe nails.

Funnily enough I have a pair of Ben Sherman trainers, which are very nice but I also found them to be slightly bigger than other trainers I have that are the same size.

Try buying some healgrips.
You can get them from a shoe shop and they stick in the back of the shoe.

Another pair of socks, and stuff anything else with tissue paper.

I'm so resourceful.

And you're so...not.

Have to go with the second pair of socks here as well, the problem with in soles is they will just make you higher in the shoe not longer....

I wouldnt bother with these suggestions unless you want crippled feet, its important your shoes fit correctly. Also you'd be mad to buy shoes without trying them on first ;)

Yeah but I thought they raise your foot so the foot is pushed higher into the shoe, thus the insole filling in the extra half inch?!

Hmmm.... I think the OP needs to findout for us ;)

Water makes leather shrink.
Put shoes on and stand in a warm bath.

Disclaimer.
This sounds completly daft but if tried pics must be posted. :p
