I had a problem with this of the installation not starting and when it did certain files would not copy. I've sorted this now and copied all the files to the hard drive then the comp restarted (required through installation) now it comes up with:
Windows could not start installation because of hard disk configuration
problem.
Could not read from selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk
hardware.
Please check windows documentation about disk configuration and your
hardware refrence manuals for additional information.
I've tried going into the BIOS and changing first and second boot order around in every possible combination but this doesn't work and the same above still appears. I don't know wether it auctually changes though because I have to reset the CMOS to get into the BIOS so I changes back to defaults. I've also tried disconnecting the DVD drive and disk drive and boot but that doesn't work. When I change the boot order a screen still comes up after restarting saying the DVD drive name in green. So I need some help please!!!
