So, looks like I'll be moving in with my girlfriend at the end of January (check me out being all grown up and stuff) and we will be needing a new sofa. Now we were in Ikea a couple of months ago and saw a couple that we liked:
Friheten - http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/90243037/
Moheda - http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50213952/

Now to the keen eye you will notice these are sofa beds, we're not particularly after a sofa bed but we liked the fact you could pull it out from undeneath and it was like having a massive extended sofa to chill out on.

The Moheda is a nicer sofa but only comes in the lovely brown, my question is; Do you guys know of anythign similar from anywhere else?

Cheers.

Although firm, it's actually quite comfy. We obviously tried them out in ikea and her friend has one and we spent the night on it and used it as a normal sofa too, so I think I'd be happy with it day to day. Not particularly after a sofa bed, I just like the fact it turns in to a massive loungy sofa. Bed part is a bonus but a good sturdy recliner would also do the job.

That Argos one looks a good shout lots of positive customer reviews.

Personally I'd get the nicest regular corner sofa you can afford. Sofa beds are overpriced if you aren't going to use the bed part often and tbh you can sleep on a decent sofa if need be.

If I had the one I posted I wouldn't really be using the bed part as a bed but more of an extended sofa. But yeah, we're definitely going to have to look around and maybe wait on a DFS 'sale' ;)

Who's buying a sofa without sitting on it?

I've tried both of the ones I've mentioned, the Friheten moreso at a friends house and I've already said I'm going to go to have a look round proper sofa shops.

I'd agree if I was just asking for general recommendations but I was asking about alternatives. But I appeciate the tips nonetheless and I actually like the look of the Bel Air mentioned.
