just posted in the vid card section and now its the sound cards turn
damn MS have made it so that my SB live 5.1 digital wont work properly in Vista , yeah there are various 3rd party drivers but tbh non are brilliant , even updating the SB drivers manualy dosent work as it should
i need a sound car that supports my 5.1 surround speakers that are the ADA THX 995`s it has a 3 cable connection , i also need a toslink if sound cards have em these days , i havent messed with this stuff for ages so am a bit out of touch
i can run a cable from sound card to my DTS setup in the lounge and i`m thinking toslink is the best but if need be sp/dif will do
of course if the card has more connectors all well and good , ya can never have enough i say
could i have some pointers please as to what i may be needing and is fully compat with Vista
