So, my xfi has hardware issues with my pc

Heared the major players of cards maudio etc dont do games very well, so, what options DO i have?

Creative have the monopoly in gaming acceleration so any others will use older EAX, probably EAX 2 and probably in software? The CL have hardware EAX 5 I think?

From the reviews I've read the M-Audio's will work, but slight hit in performance. What this performance hit I don't know.

You could buy another X-Fi

the revo 5.1 drop in performance is about 10-20 fps I've read :/

Its a shame, i like the xfi, when it does work it blew me away. COuld just keep it untill i get a new pc, ha!
