Money isn't a problem so which card would you go for?

Altho is say money isn't a problem i wouldn't want to spend £££ on something that would do the same job as a cheaper card.

I would just get the Xtreme music 7.1 unless your planning on music creation. Hardly any games support the 64mb of x-ram on the X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty (i dont know of any!). The name and x-ram is what youd be paying extra for.

I know what you mean, I only eventually found this out. What was even worse I never ever play games. I only bought it as it was the cheapest in the range with a breakout box/front bay, which was a neccessity to me since I spend most of my time at the computer with headphones on.

Apparently these were supposed to be a big step up from previous Creative cards when first released, so I ended up buying one since very few computer part shops e.g. like OcUK sold equivalent (sp) cards made by different manufacturers.

I think that they were good for what I threw at them (everything, games music and DVD's), but (to the OP) unless you need the front bay - I'd not go for the Fata1ty.
