I am looking to replace my current speakers (Creative Soundworks DTT2500 5.1). I am after something that produces high quality audio, but does not necessarily have to be high powered as the speakers will be placed only a few feet away from my head and I do not enjoy being deafened (The DTT2500s volume is usually only set to a third of maximum and the sub is only turned up a small fraction). The main use will be gaming (Surround sound) followed by TV recordings, then movies, with only minimal music listening. I will likely upgrade my soundcard from an Audigy 2 to the XiFi ExtremeMusic at the same time. It does not have to be a 5.1 system if a 2.1 system can give better overall quality.
