Came home after xmas turned on my 2.5yr old Creative Gigaworks S750's at the wall *Bang+Spark*. Oh that can't be good.
Yup the woofer is bust. Phoned up Creative to ask about possible replacement/repair and basically it's going to cost me nearly as much as buying a brand new system (i.e. the whole set not just the sub).
Now do I go ahead and just buy some more, or do I save my cash up for something with a bit more quality.
Considering I know very little about amps/speaker setups. What would people recommend I do?
Remembering of course that's these little beauties were 7.1's
. I'd want a nice set of 6.1's or 5.1's at least.
I dunno, anyway recommend me a set up and let me know what sort of price I can be expected to pay for reasonable quality gear!
