Hi guys,

Im doing a little bit of an upgrade. And would like to know if my money is being spent wisely.

At the moment I have.

Core2duo e6300, Thermaltake Soprano Case, Geil Pc-5300 2gig, Gigabyte 965P-DS4.

Here is the stuff I'm thinking of buying.

It has been a while since I bought, so im not quite upto date with the latest kit. So questions.

1) Is the case still one of the most rated in terms of air flow, build quality and cable routing?
2) Which is considered the most reliable, quiet and quickest 500gig drive?
3) Is the p45 asus mobo still a stable clocker and best to buy? I see there are now X38 e.t.c?
4) Would you say the cpu is good bang for buck, for gaming?
5) Not sure on the RAM, I read the 2x2 corsair is rated? Opinions?

Thanks for any opinions, better buys and general advise.

Looks good to me.

The only thing I'd change is the HDD. I'd go for the Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB SATA-II 16MB instead. It's exactly the same price but you'll get another 140GB storage and it uses two platters instead of three.
The 32MB cache will make very little difference on the "Black" version.
