New Spec Clocking Info Help

Planning on an Opty 170 (or 175 if poss) and a DFI Ultra-D mobo. Just wanted to know what the limits are for the DFI board HTT wise. I know that they will do 280mhz, but will they do more? Say 290 or 300 even?

And what will the 170/175 hit at max/min?

The 170 **** hit around 2.8ghz but I believe it depends on the components you use to help you get it to that speed...

Also the stepping is important....

I have known people get their opty 170 to 3ghz on water cooling but 2.8ghz on air...

Cant help you with HTT sorry...

The chip will reach its limit far before you run out of HTT on an Ultra-D.
