Morning all, been getting that itch last few months and i cant put it off much longer, its upgrade time
So, thats where you lot come in, ive been out of the component market for a while, so not sure on current choices.
Ive already got the monitor, case, kb/mouse, hard drives and dvd drives so its just the internal bits, mobo/ram/cpu/psu/gfx
Since i only upgrade every few years (3ish normally) i would like to future proof it as much as possible, budget is around 1000, less is best.
Ive been looking at the overclocked SB bundles, the 4.6Ghz ones, now either the msi or asus, unless the gigabyte bundle is worth the extra? bearing in mind once i get the bundle i wont be overclocking it myself, thus buying the overclocked bundle.
the graphics, no ideas on this one, the brand new nvidia/ati are a bit out of my price range, but is it better to get two slightly cheaper cards and sli/crossfire them for better performance, if so which would be the best ones?
and then to wrap it up, a nice and tasty psu to run the system above
go go ocuk, spec me my dream (within my budget) rig
