Not sure what cooler to get atm, looked at the tuniq tower but is that the best choice and will it fit this case/mobo combo.

Also is the Abit IP35 Pro the best mobo to get for the price etc. atm?

Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler (Socket AM2/LGA775) with a 120mm fan such as a sharkoon.

tuniq tower

unless the new 8800GTS has a higher tehn 8800GT power consuption, a 520W corsair should be enough to run that PC

Seems a sensible combination. The Tuniq isn't the absolute best HSF but it's up there in the top ranks. I use one on my Q6600 G0. It should fit the case and mobo without any problems but you should always check the mobo compatibility charts on the HSF manufactuer's web site before purchasing.
You might consider Arctic Cooling MX2 instead of AS5 - slightly cheaper, supposedly better and easier to use.
