Yeah that is surprising. I'm sure the researchers in Amsterdam have a ton of Zen 3 processors to test.
Does that help you seeing as you obviously never read the story and their speculation on Intel?

With all the focus on CPU exploits at the moment from security researchers, there will be many more exploits of old and new CPU's from all vendors from now on.
It's like software exploits, so many people are looking at them. Same is happening for CPU's now.
