New SSD set up questions

Guys,
Just ordered a vertex 4 SSD for a boot drive mainly. is it possible to migrate my win 7 install from my HDD and leave all my games and files on the HDD?

if you have os/games partioned? or the space is less than your ssd?

No it's not partitioned, and the SSD is a lot smaller than all the data I have. :/

thats the trouble,its much easier to do a new clean install on your ssd,leave the old hdd as it is just unplug it when you install windows on your ssd,plug hdd back in once done and you might still be able to play some games by looking in the program folders and clicking on the games exe,or back up the hdd and format it/re install your games ect

(IMPORTANT)dont forget to set sata ports to ahci mode in the bios before windows installation
