Hi, with my new PC I got an 60GB SSD that only has Windows and a few programs on it but according to "My Computer" I only have 13.5GB out of 55.7GB left, so I clicked on it and highlighted all the folders but it said it was only using 16GB. So does anyone know whats using the rest of it, as it seems to be filling up quite fast considering I've only had it a day.

Pagefile, it's probably set to auto and this consiming heavy amounts of space if yo have 8 or 16GB or even 4GB.

Depending on how you use your PC, manually set the pagefile to something that matches your regular usage. For me, being a Lightroom and Photoshop editor as well as gamer while those apps are running in the BG, I found 800MB min and 2GB max ideal. never seen any problems.

You can see mine above, if left on auto then it would be allocating 24GB of SSD space...which is ridiculous and totally unneeded.
 
How much RAM do you have?

There's no harm in 800 to 2048 min max for you either though. It will sit at 800MB at all times until more is needed.
 
System Restore will set by default at a few % so yeah, you can drop this down to a lower % or off completely if you're sure you'll never make use of it (already have regular backups etc).
