New Steam

I haven't noticed it being any faster or slower, but I quite like the look of it. Can't wait for that blue "new" thing is removed from the top right-hand side. I hate how my eyes are always drawn to that thing.
Too right, that's the only blip as far as I'm concerned, hope it doesn't last much longer.

I had issues throughout the beta, unsurprised so many people are having issues with it, should have been in beta months longer than it was
What kind of issues are people having?

I had the beta running on an old acer laptop with no problems also on an old P4 machine at work, again with no problems. Upgraded to a newer laptop with dedicated graphics and still no problems.

Windows 7 seems to have a habit of throwing half of the steam windows on my secondary display. This is annoying because that display is a TV over on the other side of the room. Also alt+space-m doesn't seem to seem to put the cursor in the right position to move the windows so I have to find my TV remote, turn on the TV, select the correct HDMI source and drag the windows over just to see my damn server list.

As much as I'm liking the new features and layout (using since the BETA) I'm having a fair few issues that the old steam never gave me.

If I get a call through steam chat it seems to be 50/50 if the answer button will actually work. Half the time I have to cancel the call then call them back.

If I try to shut down my PC with steam running it will hang with "this program is currently stopping Windows from closing, please exit this program first". Not a massive issue but every now and again I forget about it, coming back to my "off" PC some time later only to find it still running.

I'm loving the new download manager but if I'm on that screen when a game/update finishes downloading steam will crash.

These were all issues I had in the beta, all of which I reported, all of which are still present  Oh and yes I have tried reinstalling.
