New Strider. Coming 2014.

Double Helix Games are behind this one, so kinda sceptical, but we'll see. Add to the fact they are also handling the new Killer Instinct too. :(

My personal preference would have been something ArcSys style i.e. Hard Corps: Uprising. Or perhaps Moon Diver, as it was by the original director of Strider.

Looks (and reminds) like Tekken mixed with Rayman and Super Mario. :p :D

What consoles will it be available on/for?

The original Strider was one of my all time favourite arcade games as a kid so obviously interested in this :)

Doesn't look that great though so a little sceptical. Looks more like the poor sequel than the classic original :(

Looks like another reboot, capcom the masters of milking a cash cow but they ain't got any love for megaman.

Where are the bots? How comes he has stuff to throw? And what's with the different sword powers? Seems more like a zero game than a strider game, which IMHO is all apart one dude and his big sword, jumping/hanging on to walls.

The last hurrah for Double Helix then - any ideas when this hits and if theres a chance for PS4/XO? Happy to get it on the PS3 but know it would be in the back of 'games Ive wasted good money on but never played' queue

Wikipedia says it out on all platforms including current and last gen.

Yeah I checked an xbox site as that's what I have and they didn't list the other platforms :p Apparently it was mistakenly live on the MS store for free roughly when this post went up :(

Looks fun for £12 though.
