hi guys

i am looking for some advice on replacing my curent surround sound system, i currently have the Yamaha YAS207 Sound Bar that is supposed to give 5.1 surround effect but will be getting rid as i have found that when im listening to sports commentary the voice is drown out by the crowd noise.

so i am hoping that someone can give me a recommendation for a true 5.1 system max spend of £200 and i am happy to buy second hand if that helps with recommendations. i know very little about systems these days so need lots of advice. all i am looking for is something with good sound so i can hear the voices clear and bass control as i have old neighbours on both side so want to be able to take the bass down.

thanks for any help

reading your comments and thanks for the info,
i know the yas 207 has good reviews as i checked before the purchase, i still find though that the sports commentary is drowned out by the crowd noise, the surround effect is very very limited, and also the top end volume is quite,

the back ground is the sound bar is connected to mt samsund q9 65" and is connected via "hd cable" to the tvs one connect box. i am not sure if the samsung 1 connect box would make any difference although i cant see how or why.

yes i have played with setting but got very little benefit from it all to be honest, i can hear a difference but nothing major,

as read in a bove post i am looking at the ysp 2700 as sound like it might fit the bill, although unsure how loud will be compared to the yas 207 i currently have for playing songs ?
