Have you updated the BIOS since you got the board? the later BIOS versions reduced the Vcore used by quite a bit.
 
Blimey, I feel behind the times now :D

4.8 on a push of a button..

Then I'm about to start ranting on about manually reducing your Vcore as low as you can go..

..and then Stu goes and point to a BIOS that is already on the case.
