Abit AT8 ATI RD480 Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-091-AB)

Whats the best 2gig memory for it £120
And ATI card for crossfire for £150

Any help would be great! He's going to buy very soon!

Best 2gig Ram for that money would be the Geil Value 2gb Kit
ATI for Xfire card for £150..... You're having a Giraffe aren't ya!

The cheapest is this one:

GX-052-PC PowerColor ATI Radeon X1800 ***CrossFire Edition*** 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-052-PC)
£299.95 £299.95

And that's plus VAT

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS3 (GE2GB3200BDC) (MY-046-GL) £129.19 inc VAT. For £120 you'll be struggling for a 2 gig kit.

To be honest i wouldnt bother getting 2 cards at <£150 each for crossfire. A single x1900xt will outperform 2 X x850xt's (best available for <£150). And i'm not sure if x850xt mastercards are available any more (required for crossfire).

HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-048-HT) £328 inc VAT
