New System Build/Upgrade

Planning on building a new PC as an upgrade to my current one. I will be salvaging some of the good parts from the old build & using them in the new one.

Just wanted to know what you guys think & if I should make any changes/add anything.

Current Specs:

Case: Antec 300
CPU: E8400 (4GHz)
Mobo: ASUS P5Q Pro
RAM: 4GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066MHz
GPU: Powercolor 4870 1GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2x500GB RAID 0
SSD: Intel X25-E 80GB
PSU: Corsair 750w

Future Specs:

Case: Cooler Master HAF932 (already bought)
CPU: Intel i7 930
Cooler: Corair Hydro H70
Mobo: ASUS P6X58D-E
RAM: 6GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator 1600MHz Triple Channel
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB 7200rpm (x2) for storage
SSD: Intel X25-E 80GB (already bought)
PSU: Corsair 950w TX <or> Corsair 1000w Modular

Also, when are the new Intel chips out & is it worth waiting for them?

I believe Intel's new Sandy Bridge comes out early next year along with AMD new range of cpu's.

What do you use your current pc for.

Also in your second spec the PSU may be slightly overkill, what gpu would you be thinking of using.

PC mainly used for general pc use (internet, office), some Photoshop, watching 720p/1080p movies, & gaming.

Planning on upgrading from the 4870 1GB to the GTX 460 1GB

The PSU would probably be overkill, but I will need to buy another anyway for the other computer. So kind of figured that I may aswell get a good high powered one.

If the Sandy Bridge CPU's are out in a few months, I will probably hold out.
