looking for a new high end pc

intel 10th gen or AMD threadripper.. know manufacturers are launching new CPU any ideas as its been 5 years since my last upgrade..

key important questions are, whats your Workstation going to be used for and then the budget around it ?

tbh, budget 4-5K top of everything.. as its used for most things gaming and video editing / playing - plus for work.
last CPU and system build was i7 5960X 64GB ram and a m2 drive only thing ive upgraded in that time are the GPU currently running 2x 2080ti

everything i assume atm is point to the AMD TR3 rather than intel 10th gen
