I'm also interested in comments regarding the above system as i am due an upgrade and also thinking about the Q9650, 4870X2 and accompanying motherboad and ram.

I think you'd be better off getting 8gb of DDR2 instead of the specified 4gb of DDR3 (which is ridiculously overpriced and doesn't really give a significant performance benefit).

Also, do you really need a 4870x2 for video editing and photoshop?
