New system for XMas - What software will I need to check its running smoothly...

Hi All,

Im getting an i7 system for xmas with solid state hard drive the works.

Would someone be so kind as to provide me with links to software I will need to check its all running as it should be?

I will need to check all temperatures are as they should be and also check my hardware is performing as it should be..

Never heard of msi afterburner? is that not specific to MSI motherboards?

The rolleyes to me looked like the expression of a green man in yonder.. Can someone please just say what each do.. In like a sentence. For myself, and other peoples reference.

What about an SSD benchmarking app? I think HDD Tune was one I saw a screenie of?!
