Usually a good install results in all the other stuff being disabled so I think the best thing to do is uninstall it all and start again - too deep messing with BIOS and it shouldn't be necessary so reset everyting you changed.
If you card isn't listed in DM (Device Manager) then Winders hasn't found it yet.
Power down > remove card > boot up > power down > insert card > boot and check again.
Go to Creative and d/l the latest drivers first, note where they are.
Remove the card and reboot to let Winders find it.
If it asks for the drivers point it in the right direction.
If it doesn't ask, go to DM and see if the card is listed.
If yes, right click the card > properties > update driver > point to your download. If no, try it in another PCI slot if you can - even temporarily
This is a normal software installation and you shouldn't have to access BIOS.

In Programs > Creative do you have the Diagnostics which is part of the installation?
If not, this can be installed selectively from the installation CD. Install and run.
