New system imminent need eyefinity setup

Been humming and hawwing between an eyefinity setup, dual 24"s or a single 27" screen. My new PC rig that I have purchased is going to be serious overkill so I am looking to get a monitor setup to suit this!
I'm looking to find 3x22" monitors to be used in the eyefinity setup which I'm planning.

Whats my best options? I may be tempted by 3x24" monitors but don't want to spend too much more than £500-600 for the monitors.
Any help greatly appreciated.
I'll be running a watercooled 7970 OC'd GPU to power them.

I've noticed a load of monitors don't have a display port on the 22"s. Am I able to use a DP > DVI converter and eyefinity will still work?

i can say that 25" 16:9 1080p is good enough to be a monitor (just tbh) but above this pixel pitch is poor. But i can also say 23" isnt large enough and with landscape eyefintiy it just feels weird as you crave for more vertical height. If only there was a 21:9 30" monitor at beyond 1080p then you could have your cake and eat it.

i wouldn't go smaller than 24" for eyefinity.

Which 24" then? I'm thinking either the U2412M or the XL2420T.
