New system migration

Right guys, I have built my new system, and I have cleansed my old system drive so it is literally just windows 7, with cubase, ableton and all my assorted plugins in the program files.
Basically all I want to do is migrate that to the new SSD in my newly built system, but my main concern is that I have a new motherboard in my new system, so will windows load ok, if its expecting the drivers from my old motherboard?
Sorry if I seem a bit of a noob on this, I normally just do a fresh install with a new system, but I have the plugin structure for cubase just how I like it, and and to reinstall all of those plugs would take an age!
Any advice would be appreciated.

I was afraid someone would say that.... my more sensible side is saying clean install because thats the way I usally do it.
but seriously, if you knew how many VST's I had you would understand.
Theres the entire waves mercury pacakage, which is about 120 processors.
I've got about 12 vst synths, and probably another 30 or so individual paid & free plugins which all need installing.
Not to mention the various older steinberg plugins from the old cubase which require a manual copy and paste of the DLL's because they arent included with the new cubase...... Oh well, that about 4 hours of CD swapping tomorrow then I guess.

This has been discussed a number of times, migrations are no problem if you've prepared you current OS for the switch. I've posted on what needs to be done before and also in the latest thread, a HDD to SSD migration from a Win7 install that was born in 2009.

Just make sure the core system/chipset related components are uninstalled from Device Manager before plugging it into the new system.

If you do a fresh install then just use the Backup and Restore wizard in Win7 that will backups all program files/folders/settings etc.
