Hi,

Currently got a (rhymes with bell) Vostro which has the following i7 860@ 2.8 / 12 Gb Ram and HD 5670 as per my signature (Got a SSD inside). I guess I can put a HD 7750 (low power) and that's about it due to power / I think the M/Board is slow so not making full use of the ssd.

Happy to spend £1000 - 2000 on a new system or will the Card above give it a boost for another 12 months or so.

Use my system for Lightroom / Photoshop for photo editing and a little video editing for 'work' and a little gaming on the side.

Any comments or ideas seems a waste to get new one when the above seems ok but not really upgradeable.

thanks in advance

For "Light gaming" I think your CPU is more than man enough, it's just a case of how fast you want to go, I'd go new GPU and then maybe reconsider in 6 months?

If your not having issues, leave it alone :)

K thanks for your comments so far, might be leaning more towards a new card and waiting for 6 months / 1 year. It would be a waste as it's still not bad PC - Google pointed me in the HD 7750 direction are there any better low powered cards?

I think it's a 350 w but its a rhymes with Bell system Vostro 430 so I guess would be awkward to add / remove etc.

Might be worth a look though.
