Im currently building a system for a friend with components all sourced from Ocuk as below..
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz
OcUK GeForce 9800 GT 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/DVI (PCI-Express)
Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
Abit IP43 Intel P43 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
OCZ StealthXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply
Thermaltake VB1000BWS Soprano SuperMidi Tower
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Samsung SH-S223F/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter
the problem started when i installed the GPU , first time i installed the drivers everything went well untill i tried to go into the Nvidea control panel,as soon as i tried to change any settings it locked up and restarted.
I then tried various different driver versions and even went as far as reinstalling the OS all with no luck.
I then removed the GPU and installed an 8800gt from another system this worked fine, leading me to believe the problem must lie in the GPU which was promptly returned on a RMA.
Just got an email from support
Has anyone got any ideas were else the problem could be
