So, got my new hex core system all set up, got a few teething issues including a bluescreen when installing the graphics drivers and two freezes, but I think they've all passed now, just gor a couple of general questions for when I'm messing about with it in more detail.
Firstly, I have the GA-890GPA-UD3H rev2 motherboard, and notice there are two newer BIOSs for it. Any idea if these boost performance/overclockability? Or if its just compatability? I'm not sure if I should get them or not, though with the dual-bios thing if something does go horribly wrong then it should just go back to the original anyway, so I'll probably update it anyway.
Next, for a 6 core system (1055), what's the best programs for stressing and monitoring temps and voltages? I've seen a few different ones being used, so as long as I avoid speedfan, I should be good?
Finally, what's the highest voltage I should be putting through this chip? I know max temp is 62C, but I'd assume there's a voltage line I don't want to cross as well.
Thanks in advance!
