Hi,

My system specs are in my sig.

Using fanspeed, my system idles at around 26 and on some load, to 33. Good or bad? i think bad as some people are getting these when overclocked

Been using the system for a couple of days now, and no BOD's, crashes etc, other than once my graphics card fan spining at full speed and the display fonts were not displaying right. Wierd. Had to reboot in the end and all seems fine now i hope!

Can someone please adivse what i need to know and do to Over Clock and what sort of OC i should get and temps.

I will have a read at the OC sticky and http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17825087 but it all seems complicated and confusing at the moment.

TIA

For starters, that CPU and HSF combo seem to get rly hot (although I don;t have any trouble with it and my lowly e2180.

Basically, what you need to do is lower the memory divider so that the memory's frequency is at or below stock frequency, then you can start to play around with the multiplier and FSB to overclock your CPU. Keep lowering the divider and upping the CPU speed until you're happy/you can't go any further. Obviously keep testing using Orthos or similar in between OCs.

This is only a rough outline. The other peeps on here will be able to give u moe info than me, since I am a humble n00b lol.
