Ok people, thinking about buying the following system and just wondering your thoughts before I go ahead with it:

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM - £155.99

XFX Pro 850W Core Edition '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply - £86.99

MSI Z68A-G43-G3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - £86.58

Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B) - £83.99

Akasa AK-CC4008HP01 Venom Voodoo CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366/LGA2011/AM2/AM3 - £44.99

Total: £470.53

I have already bought a Antec Six Hundred v2 Case for £30 in a local ad.

I also have 3 x 500GB SATA HDD which I think will be best to utilise to keep the cost down.

For the mean time I will utilise the on-board gfx but look to buy a second hand gfx card soon.

Not too fussed with having SLI on the motherboard as I'm not a hardcore gamer.

Questions:
Is there anything anyone would recommend changing? CPU fan mainly. Would the fan defiantly be better then Antec Kúhler H2O at the same price?

Any recommendations on some 120mm case fans - Bought some of the cheap Antec ones for another system build for £4 last time and there loud as anything!

Anyone have any experience with the Six Hundred case? What is the air flow like? Are the fans included decent or should I swap these out asap?

Cheers for taking your time to read xD

Well I think the mb I chose has crossfire option, unless I read it wrong. I think the reason I chose the Z68 chipset was because it was suggested in another thread this was the best.

It's I good job I posted this before just steaming ahead and buying that stuff... Would you recommend the Kuhler 620 over the VooDoo cooler (unsure what temps are like, always read low budget water coolers wont be as good as air) or should I just get the XMS3 memory?

Currently debating whether or not to stick at the mb I chose, or possibly I should go for the safe option and spend £30 more to future proof it.

And I don't think a saving of £10-£20 is enough to make me get a lesser wattage PSU. XFX is a decent make for PSU right?

Ok guys, thanks for your input.

I have realise I was only kidding myself, I don't think I'd have the need to use SLI or Crossfire tbh.

So I have went back to my original MSI Z68A-G43 saving £28.40 on the MSI Z68A-G45 and seen a cracking deal come up today for XFX Pro 750W for £71.99 saving me £15 on the XFX Pro 850W

So I'm quite happy with the saving of over £40.

Thanks again guys.
