Built a new system today and am installing vista business 64 on it as got it for free.

But there was no option to select a format type on my sata 250gig hdd, it just let me select the drive and has started the install. Its a brand new seagate 250gig sata drive. Does this mean i gonna have a dodgy fat32 install or something?

First time with vista, but installed xp a billion times and that always let u select a format option and then it formatted before actually installing the windows. This vista is not doing it.

Any help appreciated guys

yeah it is thanks :)

however i just started installing warcraft and it wanted to install to C:\programfiles(x86)\worldofwarcraft.

Whats with the x86, is this normal for it to show this as it is just called program files as normal on my g/f laptop with vista.

On 64Bit it will install 32Bit programs too the X86 folder X86 is another term for 32Bit. If you installa 64Bit program it will install to the normal program files folder.
