new system, what a difference

just installed HL2 and what a difference i see over my old system:

3200 barton
1gb pc3200
6800nu

HL2 runs sweet as a nut with everything maxed out for ultimate eye candy!

sig is in spec

isnt half, just have to get FEAR extraction point to run in widescreen mode now, real PITA, FEAR will run in 1440x900 no problem but i can seem to get FEAR EP to run in the same res :S any ideas, ive tried widescreen gaming forum and stil no joy!

been there, done that, doesnt work (for me anyway) will have a go again later on though

works for FEAR but not for FEAR extraction point

dont know why though they use the same engine AFAIK
