New system won't boot

Hi

I ordered a new system and started to build last night.

The spec as follows:

DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D
Amd Opteron 144
Geil value 2x1gb
Hiper 480w Type-r
Connect 3d Ati rad 1800xt 256mb
Matrox sata 250gb 16mb cache

I've plugged all 4 power connectors onto the board.

The problem is it doesnt boot, it won't even go to the bios screen.

It powers up with the lights on and the 4 leds light up on the board and stay on, I've tried clearing the cmos with no luck. I've tried different ram and it does the same and the gcard powers up fine.

I think its either a faulty mboard or cpu, or maybe the power supply isnt upto the job, or am I missing something obvious.

Thanks for the replys, I've used slots one and two for the ram which are yellow and orange I believe and also tried a single ram stick in slot one.

The led's I'm referering to are the ones are the board and the manual says 4 lit up means power and should go off but it doesnt.

my old psu is a 350w, not sure if that will cope, i will try and get hold of another.
