new system - won't display!?

Hi all,
system is:-
intel 2500k
64GB Crucial M4 SSD S-ATA3 Solid State
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3
G skill 2133mhz DDR3

Got it to light up motherboard, spin CPU fan, spin blu ray drive, heard SSD drive going bu no video at all.

Why?

Using exactly the same card in my AMD setup now.

Card is a 4350 radeon according to CPU-Z and doesn't require extra power.

Tried plugging in a 500w and a 600w psu from amd - using 24 pin and 4 pin so should have booted up hard drive from amd setup shouldn't it?

either way - wouldn't boot to bios or nothing - monitor just said connect video cable.

as said - cable and 4350 are ok as using them now.
looking like motherboard? it lights up and the lights go out to mean i guess they've passed inspection?

Intel are crap.

Then start using the basics, one stick of RAM, no drives etc.

can't see screen? or do you mean clear cmos on the motherboard.... ah.... ram is good as that's out of the amd too. will try though.

Had to try it out the case to find duff psu.
Now to top it off - AND setup has gone same way so on phone.

what a day.

Will try unplugging blu ray and put it straight through tv. Feasible?

It boots to BIOS on tv. Does that mean motherboard is FUBAR?

Gfx card used to work fine in AMD setup.

When it happened with the AMD I was worried. So I happened to check the connection to the monitor. And on it popped lol. So duff psu but motherboard is ok!

Thank god! Installing win 7 on SSD now from blu ray drive on its aide with pc scattered all over room lol.

After the hassle with finding out the psu was duff I was getting ready to bin it! Lol
On a 500w cheapo psu but it works. See how efficient Intel really is lol.

Windows experience for SSD= 7.8/7.9.
Guess I can forgive it.... Lol
