New System Wont turn on

Hi,

I built my new HTPC yesterday and it was working well but I rebooted it today and it wont turn on. The motherboard light is on but when I try and turn it on the fan half spins and then nothing.

I've taken all the parts out and tried it but the exact same happens. I've also tried taking the battery out.

No graphics card as it's integrated

Edit: Tried my PSU that is in my desktop and still the same problem

have you got any other ram to try? having said that i suppose you would get some sort of beep code if the ram was duff

It's still the same problem on your desktop PC using the PSU from the HTPC?

Are you connecting all conectors to the motherboard?

Check one stickof memory at a time..Go from there.

Ok tried one stick of ram at a time and still the same problem. I bought all my parts from OCUK is it worth phoning there support?

why not. Worth trying everything once?

clear cmos? make sure all psu connectors are connected correctly.

Sent the motherboard to OC on RM and it was dead so they have sent me a new one

seems strange for a mobo to die overnight. was it left running all that time? if so then it maybe overheated
