Hi I'm looking to build the best system I can with a budget of about £1000 exVAT

Uses are primarily work, music and internet but the ability to play the latest games and watch 1080p/blu-ray films is important (I already have a 24inch Hyundai W241d). I will be running 32 bit Vista and want this system to last a few years.

Heres what I've selected:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 LGA775 'Yorkfield' 2.66GHz 12MB-cache (1333FSB)
Graphics: EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR3
Hard drive: Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
Optical Drive: LG GGW-H20L Blu-Ray Rewriter & HD-DVD ROM Serial ATA Drive
Power: Akasa AK-P085FG-BK 850W PowerMax PSU
Memory: 2 X Corsair 2GB DDR3 DHX 1333C9DHX Twin3X (2x1GB)
Case: Antec Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case

Total £985.91 exVAT

Does anyone suggest anything different from the above bearing in mind my primary uses? And more importantly will the above work together well?!...I am open to any suggestions and slightly unsure about compatibility!

Thanks

Thanks for the advice so far!
A few things:
If I change the PSU do I still need 850W? I don't have much experience with them...
I've not heard great things about 64bit Vista which combined with the fact that I currently own a 32 bit home premium version, has made me not want to upgrade. Is it worth the upgrade at this stage?

To Andeh: I wasnt aware that a 8800GTX would be better than a 9800GTX...can you recommend a particular model for around the same price?

Also if looking for DDR2 motherboards over DDR3, is the Asus or the Gigabyte a better buy?

Thanks again
