money spent in the worng places in the build imo....
to be honest, I would be expecting i7 or phenom II for that price. don't get me wrong that spec will fly, but you could get that sort of performance for a lot less cash, or get more performance for the same price. but for shop bought that's pretty decent, surprised by the PSU and motherboard choice, they seem a little over the top to me.

ok thanks for you replies and opinions and yes i understand i could have had a little better system but i needed one yesterday so i just went ahead and brought it lol. It actually only came to 920. could you spec me a better system for that price to see what i could have had. thanks
Probably not a great idea asking what you could have had 
Could definitely go i7 for that price, even include a cooler for overclocking and double the amount of ram. I'm guessing you already had the case.
What is the system being used for, size of monitor etc. At a guess, because of the SLi GTX260's. gaming and hopefully at least a 24" monitor?
