OK so I'm about to take out my z68 mobo, i7 2600k cpu, 16gb of ddr3 ram and replace it with a z390 mobo, i9 9900k and 32 gb of ddr4 ram.

Should I reinstall windows or can I just boot off my old windows drive?

You can just plug the drive and go. But I would strongly recommend to do a fresh install. Just make sure you have all the serial numbers required as a change of motherboard/CPU could require a new authentication.

I do a fresh install each time, I'm sure there's no harm in just using the current install which your running..
