Got it all together but it won't post it's o all on and I'm getting a code C5 please help ..

What motherboard? From a google C5 tends to be a memory error, so I'd check the slots you're using match what is recommended in the manual.

How long are you waiting for it to boot? DDR5 can take a long time.

Bout 15 mins at the minute it's saying c5 still ram is in slots 2 and 4 can't get into the bios .

Take the RAM out.

Now try one stick at a time, leave for 10mins and wait, if no boot try the next slot and so on, if that doesn't work do the same with the other stick of RAM.

Specs? motherboard model in particular. Is it the X870E Aurus Pro? Weirdly the manual doesn't have C5

C0~CF Reserved.

Reddit post suggests :

Sticks in the 'wrong slots' whatever that means.
Needed to update BIOS

Yeah just try with 1, if it boots check your BIOS and see if you need to update and hopefully it's just that.

The board is a gigabyte arous pro

right it's alive but I can't install windows the only way it works is to have the ram in slots 3 4 .keep getting errors at the end ofnthe install..

According to the manual what slots do you have populated? There is A1/A2/B1/B2.
Does it crash if you only use 1 stick in one of those slots? What about the other?
Are you sure your install media is ok?
Is the storage known to be working?

When you have an issue you try to resolve with tech, always remember to explain how you did so. The internet is a shocking place right now, full of dead ends or links to social media when people search for issues.

You very well might have someone with the same problem searching for fixes, it's painfully frustrating to find threads like this where explanations aren't given.

All sorted? How did you fix it?
took out the power supply and put it back in and connected all up put the ram in 1 stick at a time and it Sayed 15 on the code. so as you have said memory training left went and a cupa came back up and the bios screen was waiting lol.the windows problems was do do with the wrong files system .done the disk part thing changed the file name and boom windows installed right away.
