im ordering the flext 50 in the next week or 2 with my staff discount :p (50% off for life).

im unsure what phone to get though. tempted by the MDA Vario, though the Vario 2 is spose to be out later this year. i use my phone for MP3's a lot so thats a must, would prefer a smart phone or PDA style. money isnt a problem. (all but 8800 is Free on that plan)

currently got the N70 but im bored of it.

any recomendations.

Er...if you work for T-Mobile how come you need recomendations for a phone? ;p

Anyway, if you play MP3's a lot look no further than the W800i. I got mine a couple of days ago and was a bit concerned as I've used nokia's for years, but I fancied a change and boy am I glad I did!

Very good call clarity. Nice loud ringtones and ear piece (on the phone itself) and the sound quality from the MP3 player is almost as good as my ipod mini. As it comes with a 512mb memory card it'll hold about 125 songs and the phone is very easy to use.

Ew, I couldn't stand the N70 when I tried it! The keypad is horrendous and I'm just bored of Nokia phones to be honest.

Still, each to their own and all that.

Gotta agree about the N70 keypad - what were they thinking? They obviously had nimble ladies with long fingernails in mind when they sized the keypad as small as they did, and clearly forgot about the sausage-fingered Neanderthals like me who kept pressing 2-3 buttons together :o

I'd say the Vario is a pretty good choice, if you are interested in a smartphone. Nothing else really compels me at the moment to be honest - I'd otherwise wait until the next batch of new phones (Nokia N-series, Sony Ericsson 3MP cameraphone or 4GB MP3 phone, etc) personally.

the phone ive got now (nokia N70) is better than w800i

How d'ya work that out? The N70 is bloody awful! Admittedly the W800 has its problems but it's a hell of a lot more convenient than the N70.

Personally I'd wait as there's a slew of handsets coming shortly (which you probably know) and you'll only be wanting to upgrade again in 2 months time :p

i have only 2 major problems with the n70

1) the network which im on (3 Mobile)

2) its quite slow

truth be told im bored. the vario II does interest me so does the n91 and w950i (i think its called).

no current release date set for MDA Vario II and the N91 isnt due for a month or so. no idea when the new Sony Ericson is due...

Vario II (gotta admit it looks nice, and has 2 cameras (2.1Mpx & VGA) is 3G and has a faster CPU@300Mhz):
